The Athens Area Emergency Food Bank, located on Barber Street next to the Ark, provides canned foods and other staple food items to local families in need. They must be referred by another agency and are eligible to receive food two times in a six month period. Covenant has an ongoing food collection benefiting the Food Bank in the room joining the worship center and church school wing to the fellowship hall. We also conduct special food drives during the year. The Food Bank is open weekday mornings and needs volunteer help during those hours.
