Athens Area Homeless Shelter

Athens Area Homeless Shelter serves the vast majority of families in Athens experiencing homelessness through several programs including an emergency shelter, an educational shelter program for families with a parent pursuing a degree, and a year-long rental assistance program.

Covenant’s Participation

Covenant members serve at AAHS by providing birthday cakes for children in all shelter programs, cooking meals for the emergency shelter, doing various holiday projects to benefit the families and children, and regular repair and painting projects for family shelter units.
